As technology is evolved many people prefer online banking which allows people to make transactions or check the account balance anywhere any time at their convenience.



1. You should find the Andhra Bank branch which is nearest to your location.
2. You should carry the passbook that is given to you while opening a bank account. The passbook will have all the details such as account holder name, account number, address, the photo of the account holder, date of transactions, credits and debit details, interest details of each and every transaction.
3. You should get the token from the machine available in the bank in order to stand in the queue.
4. The token number will be displayed on the screen that is available in the bank 
5. You can approach the banker when your token number gets displayed in the screen 
6. You need to provide the passbook to the banker so that he will get the account number that is being displayed in the passbook to retrieve your account details
7. The banker will verify your account details and make an entry which shows your current account balance.
8. You can also do the balance enquiry using the passbook entry machine that is available in the queue instead of standing in the long queues.
9. You need to carry the passbook and you should press start button that is available in the passbook entry machine and then you need to open the passbook page that shows the barcode.
10. You can see the red light that is being displayed from the machine and you need to place the barcode that is available in the passbook in line with the red light so that your account will be scanned using barcode reader.
11. Once verified you need to insert the printing page where next transaction need to be displayed in the passbook printing machine.
12. You will get a screen which displays your transaction is getting processed and once it is processed your current account balance and last transactions will get printed in the passbook. You can then take your passbook from the passbook printing machine

Andhra Bank account Balance Enquiry using ATM:


In order to use this facility, you need a debit card for the associated account which you can get it by approaching the nearest Andhra bank branch. You need to set the four digit ATM pin by resetting the default pin in any one of the ATM’s that is available nearest to your location. Once you have set the pin you should follow the below steps to do a balance enquiry using ATM

1. You should first find the Andhra Bank ATM that is nearest to your location
2. You should carry the ATM card for the associated account and you should insert the card into the ATM machine. Once inserted you will be prompted for the ATM pin
3. Once verified it will display the options available such as cash withdrawal, balance enquiry etc.
4. You should balance enquiry option and then it will display the current balance of the savings account.
5. If you want a receipt of the same you can choose the option as yes when it asks whether you need a printed receipt for the transaction. Then you will get the printed receipt of your current balance of the savings account.

Andhra Bank account Balance Enquiry using Missed Call facility:


To provide hassle free and convenient banking services to customer by leveraging technology, Bank has introduced “Missed Call” facility for “Balance Inquiry”.  All customers who have registered their mobile number can get the balance of their accounts by just giving a missed call from their registered mobile number to 09223011300. The call made to the above number will automatically disconnect after the first ring. Customer will then receive an SMS giving the current balance of your savings account.

Followed by missed call, we can also use SMS service to know balance details.
We need to have a registered phone number for the account.
Note: In case your mobile number is not registered in your Andhra bank account profile, get it done right away. You can do so by visiting nearest branch and completing the basic formalities there.

You can do it by calling to customer care and then answering the verification questions.
Here is SMS pattern you need to follow: ABBAL<Space> “16 digit Account number”<SPACE>SmsPassword and Send it to 56161.
You will get a reply SMS from Andhra bank that contains your account balance details.


Andhra Bank account Balance Enquiry online using Internet Banking:


           This is one of the easiest and convenient methods for the account holders as it allows the users to access the bank account anytime anywhere at their convenience. To use this facility you need a PC and internet connection.

1. You should find out the Andhra bank official website where you need to first register for online banking.
2. You need to register using the account details and generate the user name and password which you can use it for logging in to your account.
3. You need to use the below link to login to the internet banking website 


4. You should select the retail user option if you are an individual user else you should select corporate user if you are using it for business purposes. You will be redirected to another page where you need to click the continue button and then you will get the below login page where you should enter the user name and password associated with your savings account and then click the submit button.





5. The password is case sensitive hence you need to be careful while entering the password as typing the wrong password for thrice will block your account and then you need to contact customer care to unblock the account. If you forgot the password you can reset the old password by clicking the forgot password option available in the login page.
6. Once your user name and password is verified you will get the home page of your savings account where you can find an option such as account summary.
7. You need to choose that option to know the current account balance of your savings account
8. Once you have checked the account balance you can click the logout option available in the same home page

6. Balance enquiry using Android app:

This is one of the easiest methods to know the account details of the customer. In order to use this facility, you need a smartphone and the internet connection.

1. You should first install the Andhra Bank mPay application in your smartphone
2. Then you need the user name and MPIN in order to use this facility for balance enquiry.
3. You should request the bank to get the user name and MPIN
4. Once you have got the user name and MPIN, you need to enter the same in the installed Andhra Bank application
5. Then you need to click the login button to get the home page of your savings account
6. If you forgot the MPIN you can also reset it to new MPIN by clicking the option forgot MPIN that is available on the login page
7. Once the user name and MPIN are verified you will get the home screen of your savings account where you can find options such as account transfer, third party transfer, account summary, transaction details etc.
8. You can choose the options account summary to know the current balance of your savings account.
